Creative, intuitive, vibrant, non-diet and Health At Every Size ® dietitian with a bent for helping ordinary people love their lives extraordinarily! My highest compliment to date was from a client who said, “I don’t diet; I ‘Jamie!’”
My education and training includes a Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences with a Dietetics emphasis from University of Wyoming, and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. In addition to continuing education to maintain my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist status, I also steep myself in podcasts and writing from those I admire most in the nutrition and body acceptance field.
As a clinical dietitian at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, I am trained to cover three different clinical nutrition positions and four different areas of the hospital. This has fueled my verve and compassion for helping others step into their true selves. This has allowed me to foster relationships with patients and other providers that are based on mutual respect and exchange of knowledge.
I am morning person who loves to start my day with joyful movement, which is when I have my best ideas. This is how I have come up with concepts to write about, which have been published in four different forums, including here on ScintillaLife.
My loftiest aspiration is to help others step into their true selves by finding intuitive health and body acceptance. I hope to position myself to positively impact as many people as possible. If you think you may have an need I could fill, please feel free to reach out!
